Check the alternative points

Try to unlock the car door

You can pick the lock with the string. Get a piece of string, you can also use yarn or rope or even your shoelaces. Make a knot in the center of the string, to do this make a loop and feed on the end of the string via a loop. Make one more loop at least 5 inches away from the first loop. Finally, take the second loop through the first loop and tighten the knot. This will help you to create a knot that you can tighten by pulling one end. 

Place the string on the top of the door and wiggle it back by holding both the ends of the string. Continue wiggling the string until it gets squeezed inside of the car. 

Position the string loop closer to your door’s lock. Fiddle the string until you get the loop slip in the knot directly over the lock. Now drop the string loop around the lock. Once it is placed, pull the one end of the string to tighten the loop. Pull the top part of the string and let go of the other string to pop open the lock. 

Use a coat hanger

Find the coat hanger and straighten it as much as possible, the longer the hanger will be the easier it will be to open it. Bend the hanger in the “V” shape and wrap around your lock so that it can wrap around the lock. Slide the hanger between the hanger and the rubber; continue doing this between the windows. 

Attempt this carefully so that you don’t damage the rubber line around the window. Keep on wiggle the hanger until it snags on the lock. Once it wraps the pin in the door frame, pull up the door hanger.
